Frontline are hiring Brand Managers! We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and proactive people to support our recruiters at university campuses nationwide to help us achieve our mission – to transform the lives of vulnerable children by recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in social work and broader society. We are looking for people who want to make a positive change in society, are confident in connecting and communicating with new people, are self-motivated and take a hands-on approach.

This is an exciting and highly rewarding part time job to raise the profile and awareness of Frontline at your university. What will you do?

•    Talk to students confidently about Frontline (lecture shout-outs, meetings) 
•    Plan and organise events 
•    Help host Frontline presentations and recruitment events
•    Use media on campus to promote Frontline (social media, print media, radio, TV)
•    Make links across the university (departments, student union and societies)
•    Promote Frontline on campus professionally and wear branded clothing

What are the expectations?

•    Work the hours agreed with your Recruitment Office (RO) who will act as your line manager (up to 44 hours across autumn and spring term)
•    Attend all training provided by Frontline
•    Remain in regular contact with your RO (always respond within 48 hours)
•    Complete and submit timesheet and provide weekly updates to your RO
•    Communicate with other Frontline Brand Managers via email/social media
•    Attend all meetings/be available for scheduled phone calls
•    Flag any concerns to your Recruitment Officer

How do we select Brand Managers?

We have four competencies that we look for evidence of when recruiting our brand managers. 

  1. Motivation and Commitment: you’ll be committed to Frontline’s mission and be comfortable speaking enthusiastically about the programme. You will also be prepared to learn and develop – learning from successes and building on them.
  2. Initiative and Problem Solving: As a Brand Manger you’ll need to promote Frontline to students in creative ways and be prepared to initiate, plan and carry out creative events. You will be proactive, self-motivated and resilient to overcome any challenges you face. 
  3. Relationships, Networking and Communications: you’ll be actively involved in a range of extra-curricular activities and keen to widen your networks. You will be confident in communicating effectively with a variety of people to raise awareness of Frontline.
  4. Professionalism: Brand Managers must be able to effectively manage deadlines and work on a variety of tasks alongside one another. Also, as a professional employee representing Frontline, you will need to demonstrate Frontline’s values on campus. 

We are recruiting at the following universities: Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Durham, Lancaster, Nottingham, Bristol, Liverpool, York, Sheffield, LSE.

Are you eligible?
•    Eligible to work in the UK from September – March (essential)
•    Predicted 2:1 or above (essential)
•    Able to provide referees if you are successful (essential)
•    Available for a telephone interview during the first week of June  (essential) 
•    Available to attend the assessment centre on 25 June if successful (essential)
•    Available for training in London, if successful, on 17 Sept & 30 Jan (essential)
•    Confident on social media (desirable)
•    Involved in societies and activities at your university (desirable)

Pay (Living Wage)
•    £7.65 per hour (£8.80 for London Weighting)
