Frontline Leadership Seminars: From process to practice

Last month we were delighted to welcome Professor Eileen Munro CBE to launch our series of Leadership seminars. Frontline is establishing this series of seminars because we believe leadership is an integral part of social work practice.
Social workers must be able to set out a vision for diverse groups, convince people to act, and work with purpose in challenging settings. To transform the lives of vulnerable children we need leaders to bring about positive change. As such, leadership is a key part of the programme when it comes to supporting participants in their development.
These talks will expose participants to leading thinkers in social work and other system influencers. Through enabling different speakers to share ideas with the cohort and opening the events to a wider audience our aim is to support and influence the wider social work system and provide new learning and networking opportunities.

Our Chief Executive, Josh MacAlister, has written a blog about Professor Munro’s excellent talk. Read the blog on LinkedIn.
