Frontline programme hub
Welcome to the hub!
Congratulations on securing an offer for the Frontline programme. This page will be a hub of resources to help you navigate through our pre-programme checks, and later start preparing for the programme itself. Throughout the academic year more content will be added, and we have lots of exciting content lined up for 2023, so watch this space.
Our mission
Frontline is England’s largest social work charity. Everything we do aims to make life better for children who need a social worker, to help keep them safe from harm and to give them every possible chance to fulfil their potential. We do this through developing excellent social work practice, leadership and innovation.
The Frontline programme Bulletin
The Frontline programme Bulletin is the regular update from Frontline – with important information about your pre-employment checks, local authority placement and the summer institute.
It is imperative that you read each edition as this will contain important information and actions that you won’t be able to start the programme without completing.
Previous Bulletins
Applicant webinars
In the run up to the summer institute, we’ll be running a webinar series to help you prepare for the programme. The overarching purpose of the series is to give you a better understanding of the role of a social worker, and what you’ll be doing on the programme.
Sign up links for each session are sent out in the Bulletins. If you are unable to join us live, you can catch up on missed content by watching back the recordings below.
Previous webinars
1. A day in the life of a social worker
2. Stories from the fellowship
6. Preparing for the summer institute
You can also watch back the recording to a recent Disabled students allowance (DSA) information session.
