THE FELLOWSHIP ANNUAL EVENT

Each year the Fellowship comes together for two days to learn, connect and share ideas. Influential speakers deliver workshops on practice, policy and innovation. It is the only time in the year when all fellows can gather together. It is a chance for them to reflect on how they can have a greater impact on children and families and recharge their motivation to make positive change.

The inaugural Annual Event took place on 8 – 9 December 2017. On Friday evening the event began with speeches and entertainment from Lemn Sissay. Attendees connected and caught up over canapés and drinks, accompanied by a live jazz band.

Saturday contained a full day of activity, beginning with introductory speeches from Charley Lintern, a Frontline fellow, and Josh MacAlister, Chief Executive of Frontline. Attendees heard the keynote speech from Ann Domeney, Deputy Director of Children and Adults’ Services at Medway Council, before choosing which workshops to attend throughout the rest of the day.
