Insight events

We run insight events to give those who are interested in the Frontline programme an opportunity to find out more about pursuing a career in social work and making a difference in society.

Throughout the day you will:

  • Learn about the Frontline programme and what it means to be a social worker through a range of interactive workshops
  • Receive top tips from experts in our recruitment team on how to master our application stages
  • Interact with those in the social work profession, sharing their honest experience, through workshops and discussion
  • Understand and reflect on diversity, difference and why it’s so important in social work

Insight days will be delivered virtually, between May and July 2021. Everyone who attends an insight day will also be offered one to one support with their application should they apply to the Frontline programme, and will be invited to submit an application as part of our early bird application process.

Insight days are open to all, but we especially welcome attendance from those who identify as the following: BAME*, men and first generation university students.

Places will be limited so register your interest below to be contacted once applications open in Spring 2021.

Email sade.edwards@thefrontline.org.uk with any questions.

Insight Events are part of Frontline’s positive action programme to encourage diversity and tackle underrepresentation on the Frontline programme, in line with the Equality Act 2010. As such, we will reserve a percentage of our event attendee list for those who identify as male, BAME, or are from a low socioeconomic background. We value diversity greatly at Frontline, as we believe social workers should reflect the diversity of the communities that they serve. We support this ambition, learning from previous rounds of recruitment and introducing initiatives such as Insight Events to encourage applicants from a broad range of backgrounds. We have asked you a question about your ethnicity for this reason and require your consent in order to be able to process this information. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting dpo@thefrontline.org.uk.

By reading our privacy statement here you can get detailed information on why we collect this data and who we share it with. It also explains your rights under GDPR and the Data Protection Act (2018).

I give consent for The Frontline Organisation to process the ethnicity data relating to me as detailed above.
