Frontline celebrates five years of transforming lives

This year we celebrated five years since launching the charity in 2013. We also marked a major milestone, with the 1,000th participant starting in a child protection team as part of our 2018 Cohort of 340 participants.

Frontline expands into the South West of England

In 2018 it was announced that we’re expanding into the South West of England after five years of successfully recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in social work. 40 new social workers will be starting in child protection teams across the region as part of Frontline’s 2019 Cohort of 452 participants.

Frontline recruits its largest ever cohort 

This July Frontline’s 2018 Cohort of 340 participants started their journeys to becoming social workers. The 2018 Cohort was our largest and most diverse yet.

Frontline rises to 26 in the Times Top 100 list of graduate employers

This year it was announced that we had risen to 26 in the rankings of the prestigious Times Top 100 graduate employers list 2018-19. It also marked the fifth year running that we’ve been featured, amongst organisations including Google, the Civil Service, Aldi and the BBC.

The Firstline programme develops over 300 social work managers

This autumn 84 social work managers started the Firstline programme, marking our largest ever intake of the leadership development programme. In total, 341 social work managers have now officially started the 10-month programme.
