Are you brave enough to do something different?
Apply to join us and make real change for children
and families.

The final stage of the selection
process gives you the chance to
experience real social work situations.
You’ll find out if this is the right
career path for you and if you’re a
good fit for Frontline.

Meet a cohort of like-minded people
at the Summer Institute and spend five weeks
developing your knowledge and
skills to practice good social work.

In a local authority Children’s Services
department, you will form a unit with three
other participants. Working directly with
vulnerable children and families, you will be
supervised by an experienced Consultant
Social Worker. Having successfully completed
the year you will qualify as a social worker.

As a qualified social worker
you will be responsible for
your own caseload, and will
also undertake further
study to gain a Masters

Leadership is an integral part of social work
practice, and leadership development is a
central strand of the Frontline programme.
The wide range of skills and experiences
you’ll develop will equip you with the ability
to use your leadership skill, whether in
social work or beyond.

Participants that complete the full two year
programme will become part of the Frontline
Fellowship, a network of exceptional
individuals who are passionate about and
taking steps to realise our mission.
