Helen O’Grady
Lead on Frontline, CSW and Pathway 1
“I am a paediatric nurse by background having trained and worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital before moving to Australia with my husband.
I trained as a coach 15 years ago and have had successful coaching practices both in Australia and the UK, where I have been based for the last 5 years. I coach predominantly in the health and social care setting.
I am a coach supervisor and provide individual and group supervision for coaches. I teach coaching skills to health and social care staff, in particular how to have coaching conversations with clients. I have been a Lead Coach with Frontline since 2018.”
Steve Bagnall
Lead Coach for Pathway 2, 3 and 4
“I am a social worker, trainer and systemic psychotherapist. It is many years since I left university and started social work in a London Borough. I’ve had several jobs in that time including being deputy CEO of a large national charity and working as assistant director for children’s social care. Early on in my social work career, I was introduced to systemic ideas.
I found them practical and useful and was lucky to get the chance to do 4 years of training at the Institute of Family Therapy and Tavistock Clinic. I still do a lot of work training people to use systemic ideas in children’s social care.
I have worked with Frontline and Firstline since they began. It has been great to see the positive impact of our coaching as part of those programmes. I became a lead coach in February 2022.”
