Harriet Wray
Harriet is a practice development lead for social work on the Frontline programme. Prior to Frontline, She worked in initial assessment and long-term statutory child safeguarding teams. She also contributed to the training and development of colleagues to use motivational interviewing in children’s social work.
Harriet is a practice educator, which means she has assessed and developed student social workers on their social work placements. She has also mentored university students interested in a career in social work or related fields.
Before qualifying as a social worker, Harriet worked as a children’s advocate and volunteered for the NSPCC delivering assemblies and workshops in primary schools to help educate children about the different kinds of abuse. She also taught English in a secondary school in China.
