Mayuri Mistry

Mayuri qualified as a social worker in 2005. She has also been a qualified systemic practitioner since 2009, utilising these ideas within clinical roles held in child and adolescent mental health and social care settings.

Mayuri has over 13 years of experience of working with children and families in both statutory and non-statutory settings. She has held specialist roles including working as a multi-systemic therapist to deliver an intensive home-based parenting intervention with children and young people at the edge of care or custody. As a clinical practitioner at Harrow, she helped embed and promote the Reclaiming Social Work model and bring systemic ideas and theory into social work practice as part of a Department for Education’s Innovations Project. Most recently she managed and oversaw support for students and ASYE’s in Islington’s children’s services. She worked as part of a small project team to embed their practice model, which is informed by motivational interviewing and trauma-informed practice.

Mayuri joined the Frontline team in 2018 as a practice tutor in the London region.
