Ross Duncan
Ross joined Frontline as a practice tutor in September 2017. Prior to this he worked for eight years in the Family Court, as a children’s guardian and family court advisor. Ross also has several years’ experience working as a social worker in a local authority child protection team. Ross spent two years in Australia where he worked for the Government of South Australia as a child protection social worker.
Ross is keen to develop best practice social work within the Family Court, with a focus on assessment skills, presenting best evidence and maintaining effective working relationships during this time.

Social work practice in the Family Court.
Teaching
Ross delivers in-unit teaching, presents at recall days and has a lead day in the Summer Institute on law in social work. Ross is also a co-lead for the motivational interviewing days at the summer institute.
