I work with the communications manager to deliver all of Frontline’s external and internal communications. This ranges from public affairs and PR to blogs, newsletters and social media.
I applied to Frontline because I was impressed with the clarity of its mission and how far it had progressed in such a short space of time. I had been looking at lots of charities which were trying to do some good in the world, but Frontline really seemed to be achieving it.
My work is both challenging and incredibly varied, and I am developing key qualities important in any career. I get lots of one-on-one support from my line manager, meeting often to discuss my work and personal development. However, support at Frontline comes from everyone. If you are not sure who to ask for help, you can always just turn to the person next you.
Although we are expanding rapidly, there is still that start-up feel; everyone knows each other, everyone is approachable and we are all in this together. I was nervous when I started, because this is my first full time office job, but everyone was so welcoming that I felt at home almost immediately.
