Frontline, which runs the largest social work training programme in the country, is seeking a university or an equivalent academic institution to act as a validating partner for the Frontline programme. The tender, published today, is for a university or an equivalent academic institution to provide quality assurance and validation of two academic awards to Frontline participants.

With a duration of two years, the Frontline programme provides graduates and career changers with a route to becoming qualified social workers. Participants work to complete a postgraduate diploma (120 Credits) in the first year and a master’s award (60 Credits) in the second year of the programme. The academic programmes are delivered by Frontline.

The new, two-year partnership contract offers a higher education institution the opportunity to validate the social work training programme and award a master’s degree to successful trainees in the second year of the programme.
