First choice location

Please use this section to indicate the areas that you’d prefer to complete the programme in. If you are successful at an assessment centre, you will subsequently be required to give fuller details in a “placement survey” about your current circumstances and the parts of the country that you’d be able to do the programme in. Your initial preference, along with the details from your placement survey, will be considered when allocating you to a local authority placement.

Please note that locations are subject to change and we cannot guarantee that placements will be available in all of the locations listed below. Popular areas will close when full so we encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible.

Please select your answers from the drop down lists - do not type your answer. If the dropdown list does not appear, type any letter in the box followed by the backspace key in order to trigger the list to load.

To change your selection, clear both the region and area fields before proceeding.

Access to a vehicle is required for your second choice location

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required in most local authority areas outside London.

For a placement to be viable, Frontline will not place applicants in local authorities that are more than an hour's commute from their home address.

If you are successful at an assessment centre you will be asked to provide more detail about your location preferences, so that Frontline can match you to a suitable local authority.

If we do not believe that any of our local authorities would be within an hour's commute of your home address, and you are unable to relocate for the programme, you will not be eligible for the role and will have your offer withdrawn.
