The fundraising manager role sits in the fundraising team within the external relations division. The fundraising team is responsible for raising between £1m and £1.5m in philanthropic revenue annually, from corporate foundations, trusts and high net-worth donors. Frontline’s philanthropic revenue compliments the contract revenue it receives from central and local government and enables the charity to carry out its broader mission to create social change for hundreds of thousands of disadvantaged children by developing excellent social work. The fundraising manager will spend approximately 40% of their time on trust fundraising, 40% on corporate, and 20% on individuals and events.

The successful candidate will work closely with the head of fundraising and the fundraising officer to implement Frontline’s annual fundraising plan, taking specific responsibility for researching and engaging new corporate, trust and foundation funders, developing strong relationships and writing thoughtful and creative funding proposals. They will also be responsible for managing a number of key existing accounts, and ensuring a high level of engagement with Frontline. The successful candidate will also support the rest of the team in identifying new donors and new sources of revenue, including but not restricted to HNWI, event fundraising and small donor programmes.
