Sally is a former teacher and councillor who joined the House of Lords in 2001. She has been Chair of Ofsted, Minister of State at the Cabinet Office and the Director of Government Relations at 10 Downing Street. Sally is also an adviser to ARK’s board, sits on the Virgin Group’s advisory panel and is a non-executive director of Carphone Warehouse PLC.
