Chris Kelly, is a former civil servant who worked at the Treasury and Department of Health.

Chris Kelly is a former civil servant who worked in HM Treasury, the then Department of Social Security and finally as permanent secretary of the Department of health.

Since leaving the civil service he has had a variety of roles including chairing the NSPCC, the Kings Fund and the Committee on Standards in Public Life and being on the Board of the Co-op Group. He is currently chair of the Co-op’s insurance subsidiary and a trustee of the Canal and River Trust.
