Sukriti qualified as a social worker in 1992. Her social work career has spanned across children in need, child protection, looked after children and fostering.

Sukriti qualified as a social worker in 1992. Her social work career has spanned across children in need, child protection, looked after children, fostering and adoption and quality assurance. She is now director of local delivery for children and families in Essex County Council, having been in local authority senior management since 2005, and is both vocal and passionate about improving social work practice and leading positive change in the profession.
