Following the recent announcement that a summer general election will be going ahead, the eventuality of a new government draws ever nearer.

The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and any person at an English local authority or trust working as a children’s social worker on a statutory basis is able to complete the survey.

You can complete the survey here https://forms.office.com/e/nyyWYxdpNB

Frontline, the largest social work charity in England, is using this opportunity to call on children’s social workers to help shape the next government’s approach to social work.

The charity is asking all statutory social workers working with children and families across the country to complete its Snapshot survey. The findings will be shared with the next children’s minister to better inform them of exactly what social workers are thinking, whilst also providing the government with key recommendations on what needs to be done to help improve the sector.

The survey will close on Tuesday 25 June with results being shared with the new government in the weeks after the election result.

Results and recommendations from the survey will be published in July 2024.
