After the success of this year’s inaugural Frontline Awards, England’s largest social work charity, Frontline, is launching next year’s awards, to be held on Wednesday 22 May 2024 in central London.

The Frontline Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the life-changing work done by social workers to support 700,000 children and their families each year. The event also pays tribute to the achievements and contributions of the young people they support who have gone on to make a real difference in both the sector and lives of others growing up in care.

Having a social worker means that you have that person you can lean on, someone you can trust and someone you can speak to – someone that is there for you.”  Laila, care-experienced young person

Categories will include outstanding leadership, practice and innovation, as well as an award for young people. New for 2024 is an award for participant of the year, to go a year one student on the Frontline programme who demonstrates exceptional commitment to social work. Nominations will be launched in January 2024. Frontline Awards information
