Join this panel event to hear from male social workers who support children, as they reflect on their journey into the profession and on working in a majority female sector.

You’ll also hear from a care-experienced young person, and gain a deeper understanding of the difference that social workers can make in children’s lives.

We’ll also share how Approach Social Work can support you on the path to a meaningful and life-changing career.

Hear from ethnically diverse social workers and care-experienced young people on how their lived experiences have shaped their careers and practice.

This event will explore why representation matters in children’s social work and how identity can help social workers build stronger relationships with children.
