Our latest annual report and accounts provide a more detailed overview of the incredible work that is made possible thanks to the support of our philanthropic funders. We are most grateful that they stand alongside us in our mission to transform social work and create a brighter future for vulnerable children and families.
Trusts and philanthropists
We are extremely grateful for the generous support we receive from trusts, foundations and philanthropists who share our vision of a society where no child’s life chances are limited by their social or family circumstances.
High-value grants and donations make an essential impact:
- The Garfield Weston Foundation recognises the importance of empowering early-career social workers and those facing barriers to progression. Thanks to their three-year backing, we launched our Step Forward leadership programme in 2023, aiming to reach 70 social workers per year across England. This programme provides resources and guidance to help social workers excel and make a lasting impact in their communities.
- Rangoonwala Foundation wanted to foster innovation in social work by funding our Innovation programme for three years. Since 2022, this initiative has supported the progression of over 45 innovative ideas developed by social workers, allowing them to explore ground-breaking solutions and enhance the quality of social work practice, with nine of them receiving pilot funding.
- The Portal Trust plays a crucial role by supporting our Inner London coaching programme, benefiting social workers in select boroughs. Thanks to their generous three-year funding, we provide tailored coaching and support, enabling social workers to overcome challenges and deliver the highest standard of care to vulnerable children and their families.
- The Hadley Trust’s generous support enables us to deliver our transformation activities, supporting ongoing social work practice development, leadership development, innovation and wider sector change.
Thank you to all our funders who provide grants towards our projects and programmes, and to all those who provide unrestricted donations. Unrestricted funding helps give charities like Frontline the flexibility to allocate resources where they are most needed. This includes giving us the opportunity to quickly respond to immediate emergencies, implement new initiatives and sustain our operation in the long run.
